The Runaways is the upcoming musical biographical drama film movie that tells the story of the girls that made up the all-female rock band that rose to fame in 1970s, The Runaways.

The movie revolves on the life of two friends, Jett and Currie, as they rise from rebellious L.A. street kids to American all-female rock stars band that becomes a legend that paved the way for future generations of girl bands. Jett and Currie fall under the helm of rock impresario Kim Fowley, who turns the group into an outrageous success and a family of misfits. With its tough-chick image and raw talent, the band quickly earns a name for itself.
